ATLANTA (January 8) -- Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton announced today that partner Colin Bernardino has been named a Barrister of the W. Homer Drake, Jr. Georgia Bankruptcy American Inn of Court for 2014-2015.

A chapter of the American Inns of Court, the W. Homer Drake, Jr. Georgia Bankruptcy Inn of Court was established in 2014 and works to develop and promote professionalism in bankruptcy practice in the state of Georgia through programs focused on ethics, practical skills and civility with an emphasis on mentorship and social and professional interaction. The Inn is comprised of judges, lawyers, legal educators, law students and others and promotes excellence in legal advocacy in accordance with the standards established by the American Inns of Court Foundation.

Mr. Bernardino focuses his practice on bankruptcy and insolvency matters. Mr. Bernardino represents committees, creditors and debtors in both workouts and bankruptcy proceedings. Mr. Bernardino also represents receivers, trustees and other estate fiduciaries in fraud investigations and related litigation.
