The Institute is sponsored by the American Bar Association’s Joint Committee On Employee Benefits and will be held in Washington, DC on October 19-20, 2015. Mr. Stember is a Program Co-Chair of the Institute.

The Health & Welfare Plans National Institute includes an in-depth focus on employee health and welfare plans. Mr. Stember will be speaking on both days regarding the Affordable Care Act, as well as data privacy issues. Mr. Stember concentrates his practice on counseling clients on the tax and related aspects of health and welfare benefits, flexible compensation, fringe benefits, executive compensation, and qualified retirement plans. He has counseled both private and public clients regarding health and welfare plans, cafeteria plans, fringe benefit plans, such as adoption assistance and tuition reimbursement, nonqualified deferred compensation plans, executive split dollar life insurance plans and section 401(k) and pension plans.
