(May 5) -- Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton announced today that Partner Gary Bronstein will be the featured speaker at the Independent Bankers Association of New York State, Inc.’s 2015 CFO & Sr. Management Conference. The conference will be held on May 6 – 8, at the Woodcliff Hotel & Spa in Fairport, New York.

Mr. Bronstein will speak at a session titled, “Cyber Security: What Executive Management Should Know.” The federal and state banking agencies have indicated that cyber security may be the number one compliance threat to banks in 2015. This presentation focuses on the most important steps senior bank executives must take to protect their bank and their bank’s directors, employees and customers from cyber security threats. The presentation will include a discussion of cyber risk management programs, senior management’s role in setting the bank’s compliance tone, cyber security-specific insurance products, how to negotiate cyber risk protection in critical third party contracts, and how to prepare for and respond to a data breach.

Mr. Bronstein is a Team Leader of the firm's Financial Services team. He provides a broad spectrum of strategic advice to financial institution and public company clients.
