WASHINGTON, DC (April 22) -- Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton announced today that attorney Suzanne Walker was a featured speaker at the Connecticut Bankers Association Women in Banking Conference. The conference was held April 21 – 22, at the Mystic Marriott Hotel & Spa in Groton, Connecticut.

Ms. Walker spoke at a session entitled, “Diversity Policies and Practices.” During her session, she discussed diversity and inclusion policies and practices in the financial services industry. Specifically, Ms. Walker focused on the impact Section 342 of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act of 2010 (Dodd Frank) has on these policies and practices and what organizations can do to comply with the joint standards issued pursuant to Section 342 of Dodd Frank.

Suzanne Walker is a member of Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton LLP’s Financial Institutions Team in Washington, DC. For over 18 years, Ms. Walker has provided regulatory guidance and counsel to financial institutions in the areas of short and long-term incentive compensation, employment agreements and severance arrangements, succession planning, employment matters, as well as the negotiation of employee benefit matters in business transactions.
