ATLANTA (July 5) -- Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton announced today that attorney Kathryn Isted has been named to the Board of Directors of the Georgia Asylum and Immigration Network (GAIN).

GAIN works to provide quality free legal representation to asylum seekers and immigration victims of human trafficking, domestic violence, sexual assault, and other crimes through direct representation and pro bono referrals. It offers opportunities for attorneys and legal staff to assist immigrants in their efforts to gain asylum to the United States. GAIN attorneys represent and assist clients in preparing for hearings to determine their eligibility for asylum and advocate for asylum status.

Ms. Isted focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation. In addition, she has experience in pharmaceutical and medical device products liability litigation and medical malpractice defense litigation.
