Insights: News Releases Kilpatrick Townsend Elevates New Counsel

ATLANTA (April 20) – Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton announced today the elevation of new counsel.

Each new Kilpatrick Townsend counsel is listed below along with the team in which they practice.

Kathleen Barton is a member of our Labor and Employment team in Atlanta. She focuses her practice on labor and employment litigation and counseling. Ms. Barton's experience includes successfully representing management in employment litigation under Title VII, the FLSA, the ADEA, the ADA, the FMLA, and the California Labor Code, and before the EEOC and state civil rights agencies. Ms. Barton also litigates and counsels clients on restrictive covenants, non-compete agreements, and non-solicitation agreements.

Kathryn McConnell is a member of our Labor and Employment team in Atlanta. She represents both multi-national corporations and domestic companies in all aspects of employment and traditional labor law. Ms. McConnell counsels and trains employers on all aspects of the employment relationship, including avoiding discrimination, retaliation, and harassment claims, union avoidance, complying with disability and medical leave requirements, wage and hour issues, employment termination, and employment agreements. Ms. McConnell also represents clients in commercial disputes filed in state and federal court.

Maximiliano Rinaldi is a member of our Capital Markets team in New York. He focuses his practice in the area of real estate, finance and capital markets, distressed debt, title defense, leasing and related commercial litigation. He also has extensive experience in creditor representation related to non-performing commercial loans and leases, involving the prosecution of creditor’s rights and remedies such as receiverships, replevin, judicial foreclosures, workouts, litigation and resulting judgment enforcement/collection.

Benjamin Snowden is a member of our Environment & Product Regulation team in Raleigh. He represents clients in the chemical, manufacturing, and energy sectors in a variety of environmental litigation and regulatory matters. Mr. Snowden's regulatory practice focuses on Clean Air Act issues, but he also handles matters arising under the Clean Water Act, RCRA, CERCLA, EPCRA, FIFRA, as well as other federal, state, and local pollution-control laws. His litigation experience includes enforcement cases, cost-recovery and natural resource damage claims at contaminated sites, and tort and products liability actions.

Reggie Williamson is a member of our Construction & Infrastructure Projects team in Atlanta. He focuses his practice on all issues facing clients in construction, infrastructure and government contracts, from dispute resolution to dispute avoidance through effective front end contract negotiations and real-time claims management. Mr. Williamson has represented U.S. and international clients at every tier in the construction industry, including private and public owners, general contractors, EPC contractors, design-build and turnkey developers, architects and engineers, and subcontractors in a variety of construction trades.
