SAN DIEGO (November 12) – Megan Chung, Managing Partner in Kilpatrick Townsend’s San Diego office, was named a Leaders In Law award winner by the San Diego Business Journal.  Ms. Chung achieved the highest score among attorneys in the Intellectual Property category.

Ms. Chung heads the firm’s patent litigation team in San Diego, and is the first Asian American woman to lead a Kilpatrick Townsend office. She focuses her practice on complex and technical intellectual property litigation. She has extensive experience representing companies and executives on intellectual property and technology-related matters, focusing on patent, copyright, trade secret and trademark litigation and post-grant proceedings.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, the award highlighted Ms. Chung’s pro bono work representing women immigrants seeking asylum in the United States. 

Ms. Chung is a graduate of Stanford University, and earned her law degree at the University of California, Davis School of Law.
