Insights: News Susan Cahoon Named to Georgia Board of Bar Examiners

The Georgia Supreme Court recently appointed General Counsel and Intellectual Property Partner Susan Cahoon as a member of its Board of Bar Examiners, starting January 1, 2019. The Board of Bar Examiners is part of the administrative arm of the Supreme Court of Georgia responsible for the admission of attorneys to the practice of law in Georgia. It deals with questions of the applicant’s competency, and along with the Board to Determine Fitness of Bar Applicants, must certify the applicant’s eligibility to the Georgia Supreme Court. While attending a retreat in January on St. Simons Island with the members of the Court and her fellow bar examiners, Susan took her official oath, joining a six-member board to perform these important tasks.
