Insights: News Releases Kilpatrick Townsend Names Wes Butler Managing Partner of Dallas Office
DALLAS (February 8) – Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton announced today that S. Wesley (Wes) Butler was recently named Managing Partner for the firm's Dallas office effective February 2, 2022. Mr. Butler assumes the leadership role from Karly Rodine who served as Managing Partner of the office for the past five years.

Mr. Butler has been with Kilpatrick Townsend and its predecessor firm since 2007.

Mr. Butler, for nearly two decades, has focused his practice on complex commercial litigation, employment litigation and counseling, and ERISA and bad faith litigation. His commercial litigation practice includes business and partnership disputes, trade secret and restrictive covenant litigation and contractual disputes. In addition, Mr. Butler has an active general litigation docket, including a wide variety of tort claims. He represents parties in state and federal court litigation and arbitrations.
Mr. Butler has handled cases in the state and federal courts of Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Massachusetts, Mississippi, Nebraska, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, South Carolina and Texas. He also represents parties in administrative proceedings before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Texas Workforce Commission and other state and federal agencies.
Mr. Butler is a leader in the community. He was a member of the Business Council for the Arts - Leadership Arts Institute Class in 2017-2018 and serves as a Board Member of Kidlinks, a non-profit that is committed to linking kids to healing, hope and happiness through music therapy and Therapeutic Music Entertainment.
