Anna Antonova counsels creators and brand owners on copyright and trademark law with a focus on portfolio and brand management strategy, enforcement, dispute resolution, and litigation. She also provides guidance on the use of third-party intellectual property and on compliance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and best practices in this rapidly evolving field. Anna represents emerging and established brands, ranging from startups and nonprofits to multinational corporations that span a wide range of industries, including fashion, entertainment, hospitality, business, and technology.
While attending law school, Anna worked with the firm as a summer associate in 2020. Anna was an intern on the intellectual property enforcement team of an international luxury fashion house, as well as an extern in the New York State Office of the Attorney General, where she worked on high-profile litigations and investigations. She served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Cardozo Arts & Entertainment Law Journal, a student attorney in the Cardozo Fashion Law Practicum, and a research assistant in fashion law for Professor Barbara Kolsun and in design law for Professor Christopher J. Buccafusco.
Prior to attending law school, Anna worked in practice management at an elite international law firm. Earlier in her career, Anna was a public relations professional developing and executing media campaigns for clients in the fashion, beauty, and consumer goods industries. These experiences inform Anna’s practice and enable her to provide strategic, business-driven advice with a focus on efficiency and innovation.
Anna was recognized as a New York “Rising Star” in 2024 for Intellectual Property by Super Lawyers magazine.
Anna’s native language is Russian, and she speaks Ukrainian.
