Overview

Emily Romberg focuses her practice in the area of real estate finance and capital markets. She has significant experience representing major lenders, investors, and developers in complex commercial real estate transactions including acquisitions, financing, development, dispositions, and leasing. Emily regularly works on transactions involving various types of real estate including multi-family, office, retail, hospitality, and industrial properties.

Prior to joining the firm, Emily worked as Director of Legal Recruiting and Placement in the Miami, Florida office of a high-end legal services company where she sourced, recruited, and interviewed experienced attorney candidates for in-house and law firm engagement and permanent placement positions. Previously, Emily was an of counsel in the real estate practice group of a boutique law firm located in Coral Gables, Florida where she assisted in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions. Emily began her legal career as a real estate attorney at large corporate law firms.

While attending the University of Miami, Emily studied abroad with the International Business Summer Exchange Program at the American University of Paris in Paris, France during the summer of 2000 and she participated in an intensive language program at the University of Salamanca in Salamanca, Spain during the summer of 1998.

Emily is fluent in Spanish.
