Aditya “Ditty” Shrivastava focuses his practice on government contracts. He has experience in regulatory compliance, transactional, and litigation matters in a variety of sectors including communications, defense, and infrastructure. His practice has previously included government compliance, internal investigations, and civil and criminal federal tax litigation practice.

After completing his undergraduate studies and before entering law school, Ditty formed a company that developed a cloud-based software product designed to facilitate secure collaboration between law firms and their clients, while virtually allowing lawyers to prepare for hearings, depositions, settlements, and other legal matters.

Ditty advises clients in various aspects of government contracting, including, but not limited to, compliance with labor laws (such as the Davis-Bacon Act), proper handling of Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), and compliance with FAR and DFARS clauses.

Ditty’s litigation background assists him in successfully challenging and defending contract awards in bid protests. He has handled multiple bid protests involving contracts worth in the hundreds of millions of dollars.

Ditty is experienced in assisting clients with navigating domestic preference regulations in federal and state contracts, including the Build America Buy America Act, Buy American Preferences under 49 U.S.C. § 50101, FAR 52.225 clauses, 49 C.F.R. Part 661 (Buy America Requirements), the Pennsylvania Steel Products Procurement Act, and various Agency domestic preference regulations including the FAA, FTA, FRA, and FHWA.

Prior to joining the firm, Ditty was a litigation associate in the Atlanta, Georgia office of an international law firm where he assisted in all stages of litigation, including discovery preparation, legal research, and trials in state, district, federal, and appeals courts.

Ditty maintains an active pro bono practice. Through the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation, Ditty represents domestic violence victims seeking protective orders against their abusers. Ditty also works closely with the Atlanta Humane Society and was honored as an “Atlanta Humane Hero” by the organization in 2017.

Aditya was recognized in 2024 as one of the "Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch" for White-Collar Criminal Defense by The Best Lawyers in America®.

Aditya is fluent in Hindi and basic knowledge of Mandarin.


Successfully defended a client’s $190 million government contract against two bid protesters alleging inadequate technical evaluation.

Successfully defended a client’s Kentucky government contract against a bid protester alleging that the client did not represent the best value to the state.

Aided a government contractor in appealing a Contractor Performance Assessment Reporting System (CPARS) evaluation to a higher rating.

Defended research institution from numerous False Claims Act inquiries, and helped create and implement compliance policies and measures.

Conducted internal investigations with numerous organizations, typically involving False Claims Act inquiries.
