Last year the broad focus for generative artificial intelligence (“AI”) was adoption. This year, the focus appears to be shifting to also include training data (especially as it relates to ownership and intellectual property rights), regulations, technological capabilities, and expanding use cases. Below are five potential areas of focus and trends for generative AI in the coming year.
