Insights: News Releases Clay Wheeler Featured Panelist at the Corporate Counsel Thought Leadership Discussion and Dinner

Clay Wheeler will serve as a panelist at the Corporate Counsel Thought Leadership Discussion and Dinner on October 13 at the Kimpton Cardinal Hotel in Winston-Salem sponsored by the Corporate Counsel section of the North Carolina Bar Association. Mr. Wheeler will join the panel to discuss "The Yates Memo Turns One – Corporate Officers and Criminal Liability Following the DOJ’s Yates Memorandum."

Joining Mr. Wheeler on the panel are Professor Samuel W. Buell of Duke University School of Law, Assistant U.S. Attorney Frank J. Chut, Jr., and Corporate Counsel Senior Reporter Sue Reisinger. The panel will be moderated by MedCost General Counsel Brad Roehrenbeck. Mr. Wheeler will share his perspectives on how the Department of Justice's formal emphasis on the investigation and prosecution of individual corporate officers can affect a company’s critical decisions concerning internal investigations and cooperation with the government.
