ATLANTA (January 26) – Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton announced today that attorney Lindsey Simon was recently named to two prestigious leadership positions. Ms. Simon was named to the Board of Culture Connect and was named Community Service Co-Chair of the International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation (IWIRC) Georgia Network.
Culture Connect is a nonprofit organization that fosters cultural fluency between immigrants, including refugees, and the community at large. Since its founding it has served more than 85,000 individuals and built strong relationships with public and private institutions, including school districts, hospitals, universities, community organizations, government agencies, and corporations.

The IWIRC-Georgia Network was founded in 2001 as an organization to foster and promote networking among women in the restructuring industry in Georgia. Members include dynamic women from diverse professional backgrounds, including judges, lawyers, bankers, turnaround professionals, financial advisors, and other restructuring practitioners at all levels of practice. The Georgia Network is devoted to enhancing the status of professional women in the insolvency world. Its goal is to provide a regular forum for meeting, networking, exchanging ideas, and camaraderie. The Georgia Network hosts a variety of different events each year including cocktail networking receptions, educational seminars, community outreach programs, and other exciting events.

Ms. Simon focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation and corporate restructuring matters. Prior to joining the firm, she practiced at a litigation boutique firm in Chicago, Illinois where she represented corporations and individuals with business litigation, insurance, class action, and restructuring issues in state and federal court. Ms. Simon was a law clerk for the Honorable Beverly B. Martin of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
