Insights: News Releases Tina McKeon Wins Leadership Award at SEBIO Forum
As a founding sponsor of Southeast BIO (SEBIO) more than 21 years ago, Kilpatrick Townsend has a long historical involvement with the regional nonprofit organization. As the current SEBIO chair, Atlanta Partner Tina McKeon negotiated a merger between SEBIO and Southeastern Medical Device Association to optimize the bioscience ecosystem in the Southeast. The merger became effective November 7 and was announced at the 21st SEBIO Investor & Partnering Forum in Miami, where Tina also received the SEBIO Leadership Award.
For the past 16 years, SEBIO has fostered the growth of the life sciences industry in the Southeastern U.S. by promoting entrepreneurship and bringing together the key players active in the development of key life sciences industries, including bio/pharma, medical devices and technology, agricultural biotechnology, animal health, bioinformatics, and biomaterials.
