Andie Anderson focuses her practice on patent litigation matters.

Andie graduated from Wake Forest School of Law as the Valedictorian. While attending law school, Andie was a research assistant for Restatement of Torts (Third) in the American Law Institute and a Contracts I and II teaching assistant for Professor Timothy Davis. Andie served as the Executive Online Editor of the Wake Forest Law Review and worked as summer associate in the intellectual property practice group of two national law firms in their Winston-Salem, North Carolina offices. During law school, Andie earned the Dean Suzanne Reynolds award in eight classes.

Prior to launching her legal career, Andie was a Manager of Professional Development at a science and technology center located in Charlotte, North Carolina where she managed program vision, strategic planning, and implementation of preschool through high school STEM teacher education. Previously, Andie was a School Director in the Tulsa, Oklahoma region for a non-profit organization, working to end educational inequity. As a former high school teacher, Andie taught Biology, Anatomy and Physiology, Environmental Science, Astronomy, and Physics.


Represented adidas AG, adidas North America, Inc., adidas America, Inc., and adidas International Trading AG in patent infringement and importation investigation at ITC brought by Nike, Inc., related to the design and manufacture of shoe uppers for knitted footwear, with related action in Oregon federal court. One of the largest patent cases in the footwear industry, the case involved nine U.S. patents from multiple distinct families of patents, each covering a different subject matter. After completing both fact and expert discovery, the case was settled on confidential terms shortly before the evidentiary hearing at the ITC. In re Certain Knitted Footwear, U.S. ITC Inv.
