Prathyusha Chenji has a full-range trademark and brand management practice that includes global portfolio management, domestic and foreign trademark clearance, litigation, and global trademark enforcement. Prathyusha also handles intellectual property due diligence for corporate transactions.
Prior to joining the firm, Prathyusha was a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Miguel A. Torres, U.S. Magistrate Judge in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas where she managed a full civil docket, reviewed matters related to copyright infringement, labor and employment (ADA), products liability, constitutional rights, social security, 42 U.S.C. Section 1983 Civil Rights, wire fraud, and death penalty sanctions. Previously, Prathyusha was a Racial Justice Legal fellow at Justice in Aging in Washington, D.C. where her work focused on Health Care Rights Law, §1557 of the Affordable Care Act, and its impact on aging populations with limited English proficiency (LEP).
While attending law school, Prathyusha served as a trademarks and marketing legal extern for a multinational beverage corporation headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. She also served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Jill A. Pryor in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and to the Honorable Jane C. Barwick in the Superior Court of Fulton County. Prathyusha served as a Congressional Intern for Representative Raja Krishnamoorthi (D-IL) in the U.S. House of Representatives. She also worked as a summer associate in the intellectual property, real estate, and corporate practice groups of an international law firm in its Atlanta, Georgia office.
Prathyusha’s native language is Telugu. She is proficient in Hindi, has advanced fluency in French, and can speak conversational Tamil and Urdu. She is currently learning Korean.
