Jenny Gruber focuses her practice on complex commercial real estate and general business transactions. She has handled a wide variety of projects for owners, developers, lenders and equity investors including acquisition, development and disposition of restaurant, retail, mixed use, multi-family, office, medical and condominium projects nationwide; leasing of restaurant, retail, mixed use, office, medical and industrial properties; financing of major development and construction projects; acquisition of loans secured by commercial real estate and business assets from the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation; and work-out and modification of loans secured by commercial real estate and business assets. Jenny has advised clients on formation, conversion, maintenance and winding up of corporations, limited partnerships, and limited liability companies for entities engaged in various industries. She has also negotiated and managed general business agreements, asset purchase and sale agreements, vendor contracts, and licenses.
Prior to joining the firm, Jenny was a partner at Crouch & Ramey, a litigation law firm based in Dallas, Texas, where her practice included real estate, general business, and corporate law.
She participated in the drafting of the 2006-2007 National Mortgage Law Summary published by the American College of Mortgage Attorneys.
While attending law school, she was an articles editor of the SMU Law Review Association.
Jenny was recognized by The Best Lawyers in America® in 2023, 2024 and 2025 for Real Estate Law. She was recognized as a 2017 and 2018 Texas “Rising Star” in the area of Real Estate by Super Lawyers magazine.
