David Hall concentrates his practice on the preparation and prosecution of patent applications on a wide variety of information technology subject matters, including Internet applications, e-commerce business methods, telecommunication systems and computer hardware and software, including computer network traffic management, graphical user interfaces, Website programming and bioinformatics database systems.
Mr. Hall manages all phases of the patent acquisition process, obtaining and assessing invention disclosures, prosecuting patents through U.S. and foreign patent offices, and patent studies concerning infringement, validity and patentability. He also assists clients with trademark use and registration issues. His experience includes litigating intellectual property matters in the state and federal courts, including patents, trademarks, copyright and unfair competition.
As an engineer, Mr. Hall worked in a variety of industries, developing and improving software applications for logistics analysis, weapons fire control systems, battle field communications systems and simulation training.
