Overview

Macaulay Ivory focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation and international arbitration. He has represented clients in a variety of litigation, including ERISA, antitrust, patent infringement, breach of contract, insurance coverage disputes, and Washington Consumer Protection Act cases. Macaulay has assisted clients in a variety of jurisdictions, including Taiwan and Japan.

Prior to joining the firm, Macaulay was an associate in the San Diego, California office of an international law firm where he assisted clients in the healthcare industry with internal investigations and defended clients against False Claims Act qui tam actions. He also assisted clients in various industries with insurance coverage disputes.

While attending law school, Macaulay was Lead Articles Editor of the San Diego Law Review. He served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Gonzalo Curiel in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California and a research assistant for Professors Roy Brooks and Jordan Barry.

Prior to launching his legal career, Macaulay was a Trust Associate in the Seattle, Washington office of a leading provider of wealth management and private banking services in its high-net-worth wealth management division.

Macaulay was recognized in 2024 as one of the "Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch" for Commercial Litigation by The Best Lawyers in America®.
