Cameron Keen is a litigator who focuses his practice on construction and infrastructure projects, government contracting, alternative dispute resolution, and regulatory compliance. He represents a variety of clients in the construction industry, including EPC contractors, general contractors, subcontractors, and design professionals. His regulatory work spans numerous sectors, and he has experience representing clients before the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS), advising clients in bid protests involving multimillion-dollar contracts, and counseling clients in various business-related disputes.
Prior to joining the firm, Cameron served as a law clerk to the Honorable Tilman E. (“Tripp”) Self, III in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Georgia where he drafted detailed orders and memorandum opinions primarily for cases involving Section 1983, health and life insurance disputes, administrative law, medical malpractice, expert opinions, and other civil and criminal matters, including applications of Georgia law. Previously, Cameron served as a law clerk to the Honorable Charles J. (“Charlie”) Bethel in the Supreme Court of Georgia.
While attending the University of Georgia School of Law, Cameron gained experience at the appellate level as a legal extern in the Solicitor General’s Unit for the State of Georgia Office of the Attorney General and a judicial extern to the Honorable Nels S.D. Peterson in the Supreme Court of Georgia. He also interned for the Executive Counsel to the Governor of Georgia and the Honorable Lisa Godbey Wood in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Georgia. Additionally, Cameron served as a legal intern for the University of Georgia Office of Legal Affairs and a corporate counsel extern for the Office of General Counsel at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. He was a National Online Moot Court Competition finalist, a member of the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot team, and Editor-in-Chief of the Georgia Journal of International and Comparative Law.
While attending the University of Georgia, Cameron was President of the Student Government Association and a Leadership UGA participant.
Cameron was recognized as one of the "Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch" in 2025 for Construction Law by The Best Lawyers in America®. He was honored by the University of Georgia as one of its “UGA 40 Under 40” Class of 2024 of distinguished alumni leading the pack in their respective industries and communities.
Experience
Successfully defended a client’s Kentucky government contract against a bid protester alleging that the client did not represent the best value to the state.
Successfully defended a client’s $190 million government contract against two bid protesters alleging inadequate technical evaluation.
Provided invaluable research into the defenses raised by opposing party while counseling one of the largest heavy industrial contractors in the United States in a dispute over the construction of a $900+ million Mono-Ethylene Glycol plant in Texas, resulting in an arbitration award in an amount in excess of $43 million.
Assisted in the representation of a national pipeline contractor in a dispute arising from a pipeline project, resulting in a jury award of $4+ million.
Created a registered apprenticeship program through the Department of Labor, Office of Apprenticeship, for Georgia energy infrastructure provider and pipeline company.
Provided pro bono legal services and created procurement policy for a nonprofit organization that provides low-bono comprehensive planning, design, and construction management services to nonprofits that serve low-income children, families, and communities.
Provides pro bono legal services to tenants facing adverse housing conditions.
