Ryan Kelley focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions, debt financing, corporate governance, and commercial transactions. He represents clients across a wide range of industries.
Prior to joining the firm, Ryan was an associate in the Business and Finance Group at HMB Legal Counsel, a well-established, corporate-focused law firm based in Chicago, Illinois where he focused his practice on general corporate and transactional matters.
While attending George Washington University Law School, Ryan was a student attorney in its Small Business and Community Economic Development Clinic where he advised small businesses and nonprofits on entity formation, governance, and federal taxation. He also served as an intern for the Honorable Peter J. Messitte in the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland and clerked for a member of the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee.
Ryan was recognized in 2024 and 2025 as one of the "Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch" for Mergers and Acquisitions Law by The Best Lawyers in America®.
