Shannon Bauer Miloch focuses her practice on wealth preservation, asset protection, and estate planning. She helps individuals and families plan and implement comprehensive estate planning strategies, while carefully considering various estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax implications. Shannon works as a close partner with clients, taking the time to fully understand their personal circumstances, asset profile, and values, to craft an estate plan that accomplishes their goals and minimizes tax exposure.
Representing executors and trustees in probate proceedings and estate administrations, Shannon helps clients handling accountings, investments, tax compliance, and the other day-to-day aspects of serving as a fiduciary. She also works with business owners to integrate their business and personal objectives into their estate plan.
Prior to joining the firm, Shannon was an associate in the Private Client, Trust and Estates Group at HMB Legal Counsel, a well-established, corporate-focused law firm based in Chicago, Illinois where she focused her practice on estate planning and administration. Previously, she was an associate at a suburban Chicago, Illinois law firm where she worked with clients on estate planning, estate administration, and probate matters.
Before launching her legal career, Shannon was an educator and worked in the education nonprofit sector.
