Lauren Pierotti focuses her practice on mergers and acquisitions, emerging companies, and private equity. She partners with a wide range of clients including private equity funds and their portfolio companies, privately held companies and their investors, multigenerational family businesses, and search funds. Lauren also works with start-up and early-stage companies on matters related to entity formation, corporate governance, strategic partnerships, and growth through mergers and acquisitions. She acts as outside general counsel to clients on day-to-day operational matters, including drafting and negotiating agreements and advising on corporate governance and compliance.
Prior to joining the firm, Lauren was an associate in the Business and Finance Group at HMB Legal Counsel, a well-established, corporate-focused law firm based in Chicago, Illinois where she focused her practice on venture capital, mergers and acquisitions, general corporate, and business and finance transactional matters. Previously, she was an associate at a leading national tax service provider where she helped clients secure the full benefit of federal and state tax incentives. Lauren was also an associate at an AM Law intellectual property firm where she focused on chemical and life sciences patent prosecution and trademark prosecution.
Lauren was recognized in 2024 and 2025 as one of the "Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch" for Corporate Governance and Compliance Law by The Best Lawyers in America®.

This strategic investment further enhances Craftable’s position at the forefront of cutting-edge technology shaping the hospitality industry.
*Member of the team that represented Port X Logistics, a leading transportation company, on its majority investment from U.S. Multimodal Group, a premium provider of intermodal logistics. Through this partnership, Port X Logistics will expand its customer base and enhance its capabilities by adding over 350 trucks, 350 company chassis, and more than 200 acres of yard space across key port locations including Oakland, Los Angeles/Long Beach, Denver, Memphis, Chicago, Kansas City, and Savannah, with additional locations planned.
