Will Sparkman is a registered patent attorney who focuses his practice on patent preparation, prosecution, and other related counseling primarily in the electrical, mechanical, and software patent arts. He has extensive experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications in areas such as artificial intelligence, digital advertising and marketing, electronic devices, and mechanical devices. Additionally, Will’s experience includes intellectual property diligence reviews, intellectual property opinion preparation, and trademark prosecution with the U. S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
Prior to rejoining the firm, Will worked as an associate in the Atlanta, Georgia office of an international law firm where he focused his practice on preparing and prosecuting patent applications.
While attending law school, Will served as an extern for the University of Alabama’s Office of Counsel and studied abroad at the University of Fribourg in Switzerland during the summer of 2012.
Will was recognized in 2025 as one of the "Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch" for Patent Law by The Best Lawyers in America®.
