Brad Verona’s practice is primarily focused on private equity and venture capital. He represents buyers, sellers, and financiers in their investing activities and financing needs. Brad also represents emerging growth companies and venture and growth capital investment entities in early and intermediate stage financing rounds.
Prior to joining the firm, Brad was a private equity and venture capital associate in the Atlanta, Georgia office of a global law firm.
Brad attended law school at Emory University where he graduated from its joint JD/MBA program. At Emory School of Law, Brad served as Executive Administrative Editor of the Emory Bankruptcy Developments Journal. His coursework at Emory’s Goizueta Business School concentrated on Alternative Investments (Private Equity/Venture Capital) and Finance Strategy Consulting.
Brad was recognized in 2025 as one of the "Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch" for Mergers and Acquisitions Law by The Best Lawyers in America®.

*Represented a private equity fund in the $210 million sale of an automated logistics consulting and management firm valued at $210 million.
*Represented a private equity fund in the $325 million sale of a residential services provider specializing in HVAC maintenance and replacement valued at $325 million.
*Represented a venture-backed sales engagement and automation software company based in Atlanta in the financing and acquisition of a majority stake in the company valued at $2.3 billion.
*Represented an Atlanta-based public safety technology company in various venture financing rounds and acquisitions.
*Represented an Atlanta-based digital experience intelligence company in various venture financing rounds.
