Licensing & Procurement Performance & Value
As industries become more tech savvy, companies routinely modernize or even revolutionize their existing businesses through strategic relationships that maximize the exchange, use, sharing, and development of goods, services, and new technologies. At Kilpatrick, we represent buyers, sellers, technology developers and owners, and associated vendors in a variety of complex business transactions involving the development, licensing, and commercialization of software and other technology, data, and intellectual property, which may involve the procurement or sale of integrated systems and their respective software, hardware, and support services. We also assist in joint development agreements, and focus on highly specific aspects of technology licensing, such as open source software and the impact of virtualization.
