Insights: News ReleasesKilpatrick Townsend Adds Attorney Christopher Grice to Firm’s Raleigh OfficeRALEIGH (October 13) – Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton announced today the addition of Christopher Grice to the firm’s Raleigh office. Mr. Grice joins the firm as an associate on the Electronics & Software Team in the firm’s internationally recognized Intellectual Property Department. Mr. Grice focuses his practice on intellectual property law with an emphasis on patent prosecution and counseling in the areas of electronics and software. He worked with the firm as a summer associate in 2014. While attending law school, he served as a legal extern in SAS’s IP group and as an extern in North Carolina State University’s Office of Technology Transfer. He was also a member of the Start-Up Ventures Clinic where he advices start-up companies on how to acquire and monetize IP assets. Prior to launching his legal career, Mr. Grice was a System Hardware Developer at IBM in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina where he designed scripts to test I2C pathways on IBM’s next generation chassis management boards and evaluated signal integrity between I2C devices. He has knowledge in many software and hardware programming languages and libraries, including, Java, C++, C, and Python. Mr. Grice earned his J.D. from Duke University School of Law. He received his B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from North Carolina State University, where he graduated as valedictorian.
