Grant Dickson is a Counsel on Kilpatrick’s Mergers and Acquisitions, Securities and Corporate (MASC) team. His practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, general business operations, corporate governance, commercial contracts, compliance, private equity, and venture capital. He also assists clients on a variety of real estate transactions, ranging from the purchase and sale of hotels, resorts, and agricultural ranches to commercial leasing agreements. Prior to joining the firm, Grant practiced with a firm in Bozeman, Montana where he concentrated on business transactions, real estate, alcohol and gaming licensing, and advising clients on day-to-day operational issues and employment matters.
Before moving to Montana, Grant was a corporate associate at a firm in Nashville, Tennessee representing clients in connection with mergers and acquisitions, venture capital financing, and general corporate counsel matters. Early in his career, Grant practiced in the Washington, D.C. office of one of the world’s largest law firms where he represented clients before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), federal courts, and state public utility commissions. His clients included electric and gas utilities, independent power producers, project developers, and renewable technology manufacturers.
