Prior to joining the firm, Cameron served as a law clerk to the Honorable Tilman E. (“Tripp”) Self, III in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Georgia where he drafted detailed orders and memorandum opinions primarily for cases involving Section 1983, health and life insurance disputes, administrative law, medical malpractice, expert opinions, and other civil and criminal matters, including applications of Georgia law. Previously, Cameron served as a law clerk to the Honorable Charles J. (“Charlie”) Bethel in the Supreme Court of Georgia.

While attending the University of Georgia School of Law, Cameron served as a legal extern in the Solicitor General’s Unit for the State of Georgia Office of the Attorney General and a judicial extern to the Honorable Nels S.D. Peterson in the Supreme Court of Georgia. He served as an intern for the Executive Counsel to the Governor of Georgia and a judicial intern to the Honorable Lisa Godbey Wood in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Georgia. Cameron also served as a legal intern for the University of Georgia Office of Legal Affairs and a corporate counsel extern for the Office of General Counsel at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. He was a National Online Moot Court Competition finalist and Editor-in-Chief of the Georgia Journal of International and Comparative Law.

While attending the University of Georgia, Cameron was President of the Student Government Association, a Leadership UGA participant, and Homecoming King.

Cameron was honored by the University of Georgia as one of its “UGA 40 Under 40” Class of 2024 of distinguished alumni leading the pack in their respective industries and communities.
