Martin McManaman focuses his practice on labor and employment law. He has significant experience with employment related litigation, including claims based on federal and state anti-discrimination statutes, employment contracts, and non-competition agreements. Martin also regularly advises clients on various employment issues, including the drafting and negotiation of employment contracts, personnel manuals, and employee handbooks. He counsels employers on termination and disciplinary decisions, as well as the handling of internal complaints before they become lawsuits. Martin has been a member of the trial bar for the federal court in Chicago since 1999.

Prior to joining the firm, Martin was a partner at a well-established litigation law firm in its Chicago, Illinois office where he concentrated his practice on civil litigation, employment-related litigation, and complex commercial matters. Previously, Martin served for six years as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Illinois where he represented government officials in complex litigation.
