Since 1976, the Washington, D.C. office has demonstrated a strong commitment to pro bono representation and community service, often receiving recognition for our pro bono efforts involving local low-income individuals and nonprofits, transgender rights, and our participation in D.C. Bar Pro Bono Center’s Nonprofit and Small Business Legal Assistance Programs, among many others. Our successful partnership with Cardozo Education Campus has led to the academic improvement and enrichment of its students, as well as their pursuit of higher education and community service. We also fully support charities that make a vital difference in the D.C. community, including Friendship Place, Bread for the City, Gifts for the Homeless, and Make-A-Wish® Mid-Atlantic.
