Quinten Campbell is a registered patent attorney who focuses his practice on patent preparation, prosecution, and counseling primarily in the areas of electronics and software. In addition to his experience preparing and prosecuting applications in the U.S. and abroad, Quinten prepares freedom-to-operate, patentability, and validity opinions. He has conducted intellectual property due diligence and has experience in preparing and reviewing intellectual property licensing agreements.
Quinten has extensive experience in semiconductor devices and semiconductor device manufacturing, in addition to battery, photolithography, chemical, metallurgy, polymer, oil, and gas technologies. He works with clients to prepare and file high-quality patent applications, as well as efficiently shepherd the applications through the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and foreign patent offices so that the applications provide an enhanced amount of protection for the client. Quinten also has experience in export controls, particularly in the semiconductor space.
Prior to joining the firm, Quinten was an associate in the Dayton, Ohio office of a national law firm where he focused his practice on intellectual property law, with a concentration on patent preparation and prosecution in the chemical, mechanical, and medical fields.
While attending the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law, Quinten was an editor on its Law Review Editorial Board and served as a legal intern in the school’s Entrepreneurial and Intellectual Property Clinic. He served as a legal intern in the Jackson County Prosecutor’s Office in Kansas City, Missouri and as an intern for the Honorable Anthony Rex Gabbert in the Missouri Court of Appeals, Western District in Kansas City, Missouri. Quinten also studied abroad at Peking University in Beijing, People’s Republic of China.
When away from the office, Quinten enjoys spending time with friends and family, as well as experiencing all that the Colorado outdoors has to offer. He particularly enjoys golfing, skiing, traveling, and cheering on Kansas City sports teams.
