Keval Patel assists clients with a wide array of federal government relations, advocacy and regulatory services including tax, business, federal funding, telecommunications, and artificial intelligence issues. He is a seasoned government relations and public affairs strategist with experience in political, campaign, legislative, and federal and state funding issues.
Prior to joining the firm, Keval served as a Government and Public Affairs Specialist at Cox Communications, the largest private broadband provider in the United States. As part of the Market Expansion Team, he was responsible for coordinating and supporting government and community engagement initiatives that promoted and advanced broadband expansion into new markets. Keval also advised on the Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment (BEAD) Program in addition to other state and federal grant programs as part of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) and The American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (ARPA).
Previously, Kavel worked as a Finance Director for U.S. Senator Reverend Raphael Warnock (D-GA). As a veteran member of Senator Warnock’s campaign, Keval oversaw the growth and execution of the campaign’s in-state fundraising operation and facilitated stakeholder and constituent relationships with the strategic campaign team, the DSCC, and senior leadership. In 2021, Senator Warnock’s campaign was a pivotal race for control of the Senate majority and between 2020 and 2022 the campaign raised over $326 million.
Keval also served as Deputy Finance Director for Teresa Tomlinson for U.S. Senate and as a Legislative Aide at a governmental affairs consulting firm based in Atlanta, Georgia.
While attending the University of Georgia, Keval was chosen to participate in a faculty led program focused on global politics and business issues based in Italy during the summer of 2018. He also completed an international residency in Lisbon, Portugal as part of the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business’ MBA program focused on the post-COVID-19 international business climate and challenges of the economies of Europe and the United States.
