Cole Ramey is a lead trial lawyer, and focuses his practice on commercial and complex business litigation. He represents a wide variety of public and private company clients and individuals as lead trial counsel in federal and state court litigation matters nationwide, and counsels clients in all aspects of formal and informal dispute resolution, contract negotiation, and general business issues. Mr. Ramey currently serves as a member of the firm’s Executive Committee.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Ramey was a partner at Crouch & Ramey, a litigation law firm based in Dallas, Texas, where his practice included complex commercial business litigation, trust litigation, antitrust law, real estate litigation, appellate litigation, D&O litigation, class action litigation, intellectual property and trade secret litigation, securities litigation, employment and restrictive covenant litigation, and general business and corporate law. Mr. Ramey has served as outside general counsel to a number of companies on all aspects of their legal issues, and has served as lead counsel for buyers and sellers in a number of corporate acquisitions and divestitures.
Mr. Ramey has given numerous speeches and training classes on various aspects of business and antitrust laws and competitive issues, and has also testified before the Texas State Senate and House of Representatives and other legislative commissions on various business and consumer issues.
Mr. Ramey was recognized as a Texas "Super Lawyer" in 2024 and the 20 years immediately preceding and in 2010, 2011, 2017 and 2018 as a Top 100 “Super Lawyer” in Dallas/Fort Worth by Super Lawyers magazine. Mr. Ramey was recognized in 2025 and the four years immediately preceding for Commercial Litigation by The Best Lawyers in America®. He was also named as one of the "Best Lawyers Under 40 In Dallas" by D Magazine.
