Robert Shaw is a member of the firm’s commercial finance team. He focuses his practice on commercial finance deals with an emphasis on syndicated lending transactions, leveraged acquisitions, specialty financings, and other debt investments.
Robert represents banks and non-bank lenders in connection with senior secured and unsecured credit facilities, cash flow and asset-based lending transactions, first lien and second lien loan financings, cross-border financings, and distressed lending transactions. His breadth of experience spans a variety of industries including agriculture, business services, consumer products, health care, death care, industrial and manufacturing, lender finance, precious and non-precious metals, pharmaceutical, software, technology, tribal gaming and other tribal operations, and telecommunications. His practice focuses on the middle market, but covers a broad range of deal sizes, from bi-lateral domestic financings for middle market companies to broadly-syndicated credit facilities for publicly traded companies with extensive cross-border operations and financings in the investment grade space.
Robert’s representative clients include commercial banks, debt funds, finance companies and public and private corporations.
Robert was recognized by The Best Lawyers in America® in 2023 and 2024 for Banking and Finance Law.
