Matthew Zigmant focuses his practice on patent prosecution and counseling, primarily in electronics. His previous experience in circuit design allows him to prosecute patents in the areas of technology, including 802.11 a/b, Bluetooth, CDMA, EDGE, GSM, LTE, 5G, and other wireless communications. He has also extensive experience in patent prosecution in computer architecture, graphics processor architecture, memory systems, analog circuitry, networking, interconnect structures, and lidar systems.
Prior to joining the firm, he was a Senior Staff Design Engineer at Micro Linear Corporation in San Jose, California, where he designed many challenging integrated circuits in the areas of wireless communications, fiber optic data transmission, media conversion, networking, and mass storage.
Mr. Zigmant was recognized in 2025 as one of the "Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch" for Intellectual Property Law and Patent Law by The Best Lawyers in America®. He was recommended by Legal 500 US in 2023 and 2024 for Patent Prosecution.
