Insights: News Kilpatrick Taps First Woman Atty to Lead IP Group

Law360 (July 1) - Kilpatrick has elevated a longtime trademark partner based in Atlanta to lead its global intellectual property department, making her the first woman to lead the IP department.

Wab Kadaba, the firm's new chair and former IP lead, told Law360 Pulse on Friday that the firm has named a longtime firm partner, Jennifer D. Arkowitz, as the firm's global chair of the IP department, which has more than 300 attorneys. The firm also created a new leadership role, naming partner Michael Turton as deputy IP chair, Arkowitz told Law360 Pulse on Monday.
