ATLANTA (February 26) – Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton announced today that Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed recently appointed Partner Yendelela Neely Anderson to a two year term on the Local Workforce Investment Board for the Atlanta Workforce Development Agency (AWDA).

Created through the Workforce Investment Act of 1988, the AWDA has assisted thousands of Atlanta residents in securing gainful employment and self-sufficiency. A bureau of the City of Atlanta Executive Offices of the Mayor, the AWDA exists to contribute to the economic security of Atlanta’s workers, businesses and communities through a comprehensive statewide system of employment services, education and regulation of health, safety and employment laws.
