ATLANTA (June 22) – Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton announced today the addition of Laura Little to the firm’s Atlanta office. Ms. Little joins the firm as an associate on the firm’s growing Healthcare, Life Sciences & Technology initiative.

Ms. Little has extensive experience in healthcare regulatory and transactional matters. Her experience includes restructuring health systems, buying/selling physician practices, drafting compliance policies, and providing advice on reimbursement matters, the federal and state kickback and physician self-referral laws as well as, the HIPAA privacy and security rules.

Prior to entering law practice, Ms. Little worked in public policy in Washington, D.C. and New York advocating for clients across industries on domestic and foreign policy matters. She combines this practical experience with a joint MBA/J.D., which she received from the University of Georgia, cum laude. During law school, she was awarded a GAHA Fellowship by the Georgia Academy of Healthcare Attorneys. Ms. Little earned her B.A. in political science and international studies from the University of North Carolina, Phi Beta Kappa, with distinction.
