Insights: News Releases Kilpatrick Townsend Adds Noriaki Okabe in Tokyo
TOKYO (September 3) – Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton announced today the addition of Noriaki Okabe to the firm’s Tokyo office. Mr. Okabe joins as an associate in the Software and Electrical Engineering Team in the firm’s internationally recognized Intellectual Property Department.
Mr. Okabe is a registered patent attorney in Japan who focuses his practice on patent preparation, prosecution, and related counseling of both Japanese and international patent applications. He has experience in a wide variety of industries including semiconductor, computer, software and electronics.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Okabe was a project manager in the Intellectual Property Division of Renesas Electronics Corporation in Tokyo, Japan where he handled patent infringement litigation and was involved in patent prosecution and enforcement. Mr. Okabe earned his M.A. and B.E. from Osaka Prefecture University.
