WINSTON-SALEM (October 19) – Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton announced today the addition of two new associates to the firm’s Winston-Salem office. John Sanders joins the firm’s Mergers & Acquisitions and Securities Team in the Corporate, Finance & Real Estate Department, and Chrystal Tomblyn joins the firm’s Chemistry & Life Sciences Team in the Intellectual Property Department.

Mr. Sanders focuses his practice on business and finance, securities, and mergers and acquisitions. He earned his J.D. from Wake Forest University School of Law, cum laude, Order of the Coif, where he was a member of the Wake Forest Law Review. Mr. Sanders earned a M.B.A. from Liberty University. He earned his B.A. in History, with a minor in Economics, from Wake Forest University, cum laude. Prior to launching his legal career, Mr. Sanders worked for over six years at The Vanguard Group in Charlotte, North Carolina in its Retail Investor Group.

Ms. Tomblyn focuses her practice on patent prosecution and counseling in the fields of chemistry and life sciences. She earned her J.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Law, with honors, where she served as Notes Editor of the North Carolina Journal of Law and Technology. Ms. Tomblyn earned a M.S. in Engineering from West Virginia University. She earned her B.A. in Chemistry and Mathematics from Fairmont State University, cum laude. Prior to launching her legal career, Ms. Tomblyn was a Process Engineer and then Quality Leader/Process Safety Engineer at Ticona, the engineering polymers business of Celanese Corporation.
