ATLANTA (January 1) – Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton announced today the election of 12 new members to its partnership effective January 1, 2018.

  • Alton Absher III is resident in the firm’s Winston-Salem office and is a member of the firm’s Patent Litigation Team. He focuses his practice in patent litigation, licensing, and proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board and International Trade Commission. He has significant experience in all phases of litigation, including trials and appeals.  Mr. Absher practices in a wide range of technologies, including computer hardware and software, smartphones, and telecommunications standards.
  • Jesse Bennett is resident in the firm’s Seattle office and is a member of the firm’s Electrical Engineering and Software Team. His patent experience spans a wide array of technologies including databases and data structures, memory architectures, mechanical devices, authentication systems, digital imaging, network technologies, e-book readers and other consumer products, turbines and power station management, coupon and promotion systems, gaming and gambling platforms, payment processing, aeronautical devices, pharmaceutical claims processing, as well as various other software applications and business methods.
  • Ryan Bricker is resident in the firm’s San Francisco office and is a member of the firm’s Trademark & Copyright Team. He focuses his practice on litigation involving trademark, copyright, Internet law, and related commercial issues. He has successfully represented clients in defensive and offensive litigation matters in federal court, state court, and international arbitration forums.
  • Eugene Caiola is resident in the firm’s New York office and is a member of the Real Estate and Capital Markets Teams. His practice includes a range of real estate matters, including acquisitions and dispositions, real estate development projects, leasing, joint ventures, financings and loan restructurings and workouts.
  • Nichole “Nicki” Chollet is resident in the firm's Atlanta office and is a member of the firm’s Trademark & Copyright Team. She focuses her practice on intellectual property litigation, including cases involving trademarks, trade dress, and unfair competition. Ms. Chollet has significant experience representing clients in intellectual property disputes in federal district courts across the nation, as well as before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. Ms. Chollet also has experience advising clients in trademark prosecution and enforcement matters.
  • Justin Eurek is resident in the firm’s Silicon Valley office and is a member of the Electrical Engineering and Software Team. He focuses his practice on patent prosecution and strategic intellectual property counseling, with an emphasis on electronics and software.
  • Charles “Charlie” Galbraith is resident in the firm’s Washington, DC office and is a member of the Native American Affairs Team. He is a citizen of the Navajo Nation and he focuses his practice on litigation and Native American Affairs.
  • Alisha Gibson is resident in the firm’s Atlanta office and is a member of the firm’s Mergers & Acquisitions and Securities Team. She focuses her practice on corporate law. Her practice areas include a broad range of general corporate transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, corporate formation and governance, joint ventures and strategic alliances, and private equity transactions with a primary focus in the telecommunications, technology and energy industries.
  • Jennifer Giordano-Coltart is resident in the firm’s Raleigh office and is a member of the firm’s Chemistry and Life Sciences Team. She focuses her practice on patent prosecution, portfolio management, transactional matters, and intellectual property strategy in the life sciences, biotechnology, and medical device fields. She prosecutes patents for clients in the U.S. and abroad and provides patentability, patent validity, infringement, and freedom-to-operate counseling to facilitate her clients’ business goals.
  • Dustin Greene is resident in the firm's Winston-Salem office and is a member of the firm’s Complex Commercial Litigation Team. He litigates complex commercial, securities, construction, real estate development, and Native American legal issues, for both plaintiffs and defendants. Mr. Greene has experience in arbitration, federal courts across the country, and has significant experience in North Carolina state court, the Business Court, and at all levels of North Carolina’s appellate courts.
  • David Reed is resident in the firm’s Atlanta office and is a member of the firm’s Patent Litigation Team. His practice focuses on intellectual property litigation and counseling, with particular emphasis on patent post-grant proceedings and appeals in the Federal Circuit.  He has handled all phases of patent litigation, including trial, in cases involving a variety of technologies such as computer hardware and software, pharmaceuticals, and industrial products. Mr. Reed also advises clients on patent risk management and has substantial prosecution experience.
  • Robert Shaw is resident in the firm's Atlanta office and is a member of the firm’s Mergers & Acquisitions and Securities Team. He concentrates his practice in a broad array of credit transactions, representing agents, lenders, financial institutions, private equity groups, public and private companies, tribal governments and affiliated tribal entities, and other business organizations in all aspects of secured and unsecured financing. Mr. Shaw’s experience includes credit facilities involving organizations in a wide range of industries and sectors, including manufacturing, oil and gas, health care, agricultural, financial services, and tribal development and gaming finance.
