Insights: News Releases Allison Gaul Honored at the 2019 American Intellectual Property Law Association Annual Meeting

Allison Gaul was honored at the 2019 American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA) Annual Meeting held October 24-26 in Fort Washington, Maryland. For Ms. Gaul's outstanding leadership, the AIPLA recognized Ms. Gaul for three prominent awards:

  • “AIPLA Project Coordinator of the Year” for her leadership and planning of the AIPLA Artificial Intelligence Workshop, which will feature Kilpatrick Townsend's Kate Gaudry and a keynote address by former USPTO Director David Kappos;
  • “AIPLA Project of the Year” for leading the AIPLA’s efforts to create and promote thought leadership in artificial intelligence and intellectual property; and
  • Ms. Gaul was also recognized as an “AIPLA Woman to Watch” for her ability to create her own path, lead through strong examples, and achieve success as a result of her choices and leadership.

The AIPLA Annual Meeting is attended by a global group of over 1900 intellectual property practitioners from corporations, law firms, government, and academia, who come together to teach, learn, and explore.
