ATLANTA (April 1) – Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton announced today that JD Supra’s 2021 Readers Choice Awards has recognized Jay Bogan as a top author for Class Action and Gene Caiola as a top author for Real Estate. The article “Covid 19- Related Delays in Filing Patents and Trademark Documents,” co-authored by Drs. Andrew Serafini and Theodore Brown, was recognized among the top five trademark articles for 2020.
JD Supra Readers’ Choice Awards acknowledges top authors and firms for their thought leadership in key topics during the past year. Out of a pool of 2,200 authors writing in the area of class action, Mr. Bogan was ranked #2 for achieving the highest visibility and engagement among readers in his particular expertise. This is the second year in a row that Mr. Bogan has been ranked in the top 10. Over 3,000 writers covered real estate matters on JD Supra in 2020 and Mr. Caiola ranked #5 for achieving the highest visibility and engagement among readers in this area. Impressively, Drs. Serafini and Brown were two of over 1,500 writing in the trademark category in 2020.
As the name suggests, the Readers’ Choice Awards reflect a deep dive into JD Supra’s 2020 reader data where total visibility and engagement were studied among readers across many industries interested in certain defining topics of the day. JD Supra editors chose the 28 main topics covered in this year’s Readers’ Choice Awards for their timeliness as well as their proven, ongoing importance. In each category, JD Supra recognizes 10 authors and one firm for consistently highest readership and engagement within that category for all of 2020. In total, across all categories, only 265 authors were selected to be recognized for excellence and achievement out of over 58,000 authors who publish their excellent work on JD Supra.
