Insights: News Dennis Wilson and Mehrnaz Boroumand Smith Named 2024 Top 100 IP Lawyers by Daily Journal
Daily Journal named Kilpatrick partners Dennis Wilson and Mehrnaz Boroumand Smith to its 2024 list of “Top Intellectual Property Lawyers.”
Lawyers selected to the “Top IP Lawyers” list were chosen based on their work on recent significant cases that had an impact on the larger world of intellectual property or the development of law.
In the Daily Journal feature on Dennis, “Dennis Wilson is the trademarks expert who guided Facebook in its journey to become Meta. He also brought the important trademark case between Jack Daniels and a satiric dog toy company to the U.S. Supreme Court.”
“Mehrnaz Boroumand Smith,” in the Daily Journal profile piece on Mehrnaz, “handles IP and complex commercial litigation for tech and consumer companies including GoPro, Apple, Oracle, Sony, AT&T, and William Sanoma. She also helps her clients enforce trademarks and, these days, advises them on the risks and promises of artificial intelligence, particularly in regard to copyright and the right of publicity.”
