Insights: News Kilpatrick Grows its Environment and Product Regulation Team
ATLANTA (May 16) – Kilpatrick announced today that energy regulatory attorney Jamey Goldin has joined as Counsel on the firm’s nationally recognized Environment and Product Regulation Team and Energy Team in the Atlanta and Washington, D.C. offices. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Goldin was a partner in the Charleston, Columbia, and Washington, D.C. offices of a national law firm where he concentrated his practice on energy and government relations and represented clients in regulatory, administrative, and government relations matters.
Mr. Goldin represents and counsels clients in a wide range of issues associated with regulatory, compliance, litigation, transactional, administrative, government relations, and policy matters impacting the energy industry and other heavily regulated industries. In addition, he has represented and counseled clients in proceedings before state public utility commissions, federal regulatory agencies, the South Carolina Supreme Court, other levels of state and federal trial and appellate courts, the state insurance departments, and other federal and state branches of government. Mr. Goldin is registered as a lobbyist representing clients before the South Carolina General Assembly.

Mr. Goldin earned his B.A. in Political Science from University of Georgia and his J.D. from University of South Carolina School of Law. He has been recognized as a South Carolina “Rising Star” in 2024 for Energy & Natural Resources and Legislative & Governmental Affairs by Super Lawyers magazine. He was honored as a “Legal Elite of the Lowcountry” in 2022 and 2023 for Government Law and Energy Law by Charleston Business Monthly.
