Insights: News North Carolina Lawyers Weekly Once Again Names Kilpatrick’s Brodie Erwin to the North Carolina “Employment Law Power List”
RALEIGH (August 23) -- North Carolina Lawyers Weekly recently named Brodie Erwin to its “Employment Power List.” This is the third time that Brodie, who practices on Kilpatrick’s leading Labor & Employment Team in the firm’s Raleigh office, has received this recognition. Only 30 attorneys from across the Tar Heel state were selected. Power List honorees are selected “by looking at a range of criteria, including whether an attorney is considered to be an leader in his or her field, well-versed in relevant case law, statutes and regulations; experienced, with a record of success in cases and/or transactions; a lawyer whom other lawyers respect and make referrals to; and a leader in the community, with a record of bar involvement and leadership.”
In the article that accompanied the recognition, Brodie says, “The prospect of being part of a learned profession, steeped in tradition, whose function was to assist members of the community in achieving their goals and protecting their rights was too much to pass up."
