CHICAGO (October 13) - Kilpatrick today announced that Nicole Allen has been honored as “Best Innovator: Inclusion” at the 2025 Relativity Fest Innovation Awards. With these awards, global legal technology company Relativity recognizes organizations and individuals who are forging new paths to improve the legal industry and its communities.
Ms. Allen is E-Discovery of Counsel with the Firm’s LitSmart® E-Discovery Team. With more than 20 years of experience in complex litigation, she works with litigation teams in every practice area serviced by the Firm.
Raised with a strong sense of service, Ms. Allen is dedicated to mentorship, inclusion, and advocacy for underrepresented communities. Shaped by her experience of often being the only minority in the room, she champions visibility and empowerment. At the Firm, Ms. Allen advances justice through pro bono work, tech innovation, and community service. She also mentors, supports survivors, and promotes equity through legal and educational initiatives. Her work reflects a deep commitment to creating inclusive, supportive environments where all can thrive.
“I am honored to receive this recognition,” said Ms. Allen. “To me, the most exciting thing about inclusion is how giving more people the chance to share their unique perspectives makes our teams stronger, our solutions better, and drives real innovation. When we actively welcome new voices and different viewpoints, we spark creativity that keeps our industry growing and moving forward.”
The Relativity Fest Innovation Awards continue to celebrate transformative contributions, spotlighting new and innovative solutions that address the legal data community’s most complex challenges.
